Stay Regular & Slimmer with Wheat Grass
Grandmas stay regular with a healthy shot of wheat grass.
Have you ever wondered how your grandma kept her slim waist? Well, the secret is out. Grandma did all that gardening as it not only helped to keep her skin subtle but her waist tiny. She was hip before non gluten became hip.
You can grow & sprout your own wheat grass or go to your favorite raw juice bar and get a dose of wheat grass. Most add a slice of lemon but it is acidic and you want to keep the juice alkaline so just to like grandma and suffer for beauty. Down the hatch with no fancy fruit buffers.
Wheat grass:
It is the sprouted grass of a wheat seed.
Because it has been sprouted, it *no longer contains gluten* or other common allergic agents.
Super #alkalizing
Promotes healthy blood.
Normalizes the thyroid gland to stimulate metabolism thus assisting #digestion and promoting weight loss due also to its high enzyme content and cleansing effect.
Grandma always reminded you to take a bath and now she reminds you to take a #cleansing internal wash with #wheat grass. #Grandma wise tips to a #healthier and #slimmer you :)

Do not Enter Spiders!
The one thing that all grandmas hate is the tiny weany black furry spider starring at her straight in the eye as she is cleaning the house. The sound that comes out of her mouth is enough to make your back hairs stand to attention.
This is grandma's pantry list to keep spiders out of the house! Put up your DO NOT DISTURB smell now.
1. Essential oils:
Tea Tree, Mint, Peppermint, Spearmint, Lavender, Cinnamon, Citronella or Neem:
Add a couple of drops 5-7 drops of the essential oil of your choice to about 5-7 drops of natural dish washing liquid and 1 quart of water. If you like add a 1/2 cup of vinegar to the mix. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and shake it well. Spray this mist anytime you like to remind spiders & pest they are not welcome in your home!
2. Garlic – Chop up a few cloves of garlic and put in a spray bottle with water.
3. Tomato leaves - Blend tomato leaves and mix with 4 pints of water and one tablespoon of cornstarch.
4. Citrus juice – Many spiders and insects hate the smell of citrus. Just cut up 1-2 lemons including rinds and mix with water. Orange or limes are great too.
5. Spicy repellent – Add cup of vinegar and 2 tbs. of chili powder or hot chili sauce to 1 qt. of water and shake until the ingredients are well mixed. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle.
6. Chewing tobacco – Get a package of pipe or chewing tobacco, soak it in a gallon of boiling water until it cools. Put a cup of tobacco juice and 1/2 cup lemon dish soap into a spray bottle.
Take charge and put up a VIP guest list of whose invited to your house.
The only one screaming will be the spiders as they lurk away to the next house without these smells.

Fruit to help Gout
Keep your body alkaline!
"Sonny, I tell you what does that mean?" Grandma gasped when her friend at the raw juice bar told her she's acidic.
"Eat food that is alkaline and not acidic and you will stay healthy." He told her as he did not want her to suffer from gout like his grandmother did. The wise nutritionist went on the explain what #gout was and a few tips.
Gout is a complex form of arthritis and is characterized by sudden and severe attacks of pain, redness, tenderness and swelling the in joints, often the joint at the base of the big toe (approximately 50% of cases). Other joints, such as the heels, knees, wrists and fingers, may also be affected. Gout is caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood. The uric acid crystallizes, and the crystals deposit in joints, causing a lot of pain and inflammation. Men are more likely to get gout, but women become increasingly vulnerable to gout after menopause.
It has been known since the 1950s that #cherries reduce gout pain, but there was no scientific explanation for it. But recent studies have found that eating about 30 pieces of cherries within 48 hours of a gout attack may cut the risk of recurrence of gout pain significantly.
The secret behind cherries and cherry juice is compound called #anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are an #antioxidant pigment found in cherries and other red and purple fruits and vegetables, and they are the key to relieve gout inflammation. Researches believe that the anthocyanines in cherries decrease the uric acid, therefore less crystals and less pain. The anthocyanines produce a similar effect of pain relief like commercial drugs, but with no side effects that are associated with some of these drugs. :) A smart and wise choice. Prescription doesn't have to mean take something in a little bottle with a push down top.
#Cherries (and #raspberries) have the highest content of anthocyanins.
It is wise to avoid sugar sweetened soft drinks and to reduce sugar consumption, especially fructose.
Remember acidic food & drinks =pain.
#Alkaline food & drinks =good health, joy & happiness!!!

Natural Remedy for Arthritis
Natural Remedies for Arthritis. Try some natural aid with out the serious side effects.
A friend of mine at the raw juice bar to the stars, told me "Granny, did you know shellfish like shrimp and even chicken leaves deposits in your bones?"
I told him,"No! I did not but please tell me more."
The acid from chicken, shell fish is toxic to your body and can not leave and it deposits in your bones and that is arthritis. "What can I do now I asked?"
Once it is build up the damage is done but here are a couple of things to ease the pain.
Glucosamine helps to reduce symptoms of pain, swelling and stiffness of the joints. Glucosamine is naturally synthesized in our body and present in our connective tissues such as the cartilage in our knees. As we age, we lose a percentage of this substance in our body, which leads to the thinning of cartilage, and might progress to osteoarthritis. Glucosamine cannot regenerate cartilage, but can prevent further loss and stop the progression of arthritis.
Chondroitin is a building block of the connective tissue in our body. Chondroitin stimulates the cartilage cells, and therefore works well with glucosamine to improve regeneration and recovery of the tissues. It is ideal to take chondroitin together with glucosamine. By themselves they are not effective. You will see results in 8-12 weeks.
The recommended dose is 1,500 mg of glucosamine sulfate a day and 800-1,500 mg of chondroitin sulfate. If you are allergic to sulfate, use hydrochloride version.
Cinamon: Sprinkle a pinch in your foods, teas, fruit, cereal, juice, milk sub beverages.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane )is a naturally occurring sulfur compound found in fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, fish, and grains. It is marketed as a dietary supplement for pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. Recommended dose is 1,000 to 4,000 mg daily.
Omega 3 fatty acids (fish oil) has anti inflammatory properties. As inflammation always accompanies joint pain, omega 3 helps to reduce the discomfort of arthritis and relieve pain. Omega 3 is found in fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel and sardines. Fish oil supplements are a good way to get the health benefits of omega 3. Recommended dose is 2-3 grams a day or one tablespoon of liquid Omega 3.
Shea nut oil has natural plant components that are anti inflammatory. A recent study found that taking shea nut oil decreases significantly the inflammation and cartilage degeneration. Take as directed in the label.
